UFO Buzz is a film-industry intelligence service operated by UFO Moviez India Limited (“we”, “us”), the Data Fiduciary responsible for the personal data described here. It aggregates publicly available signals about films — critic reviews, audience chatter, search trends and box-office figures — for studios, advertisers and analysts. This policy explains, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”), what personal data we handle and your rights as a Data Principal.

Data we hold about you

If you have a Buzz account we store your name, work email address, organisation and role so you can sign in (via emailed magic link) and see the films your organisation has access to. We process this to operate the service for your organisation, and keep it while your organisation has an active subscription.

Public film data

The film intelligence we display is compiled from public sources (published reviews, public social posts, search-trend and box-office data). We analyse this material in aggregate — sentiment scores, momentum, themes — and do not build profiles of, or store account handles for, the individuals who wrote the underlying posts or reviews. Published critic verdicts are shown with the name of their publication.

Who we share data with

These are our Data Processors, engaged under contract to process data only on our instructions:

We use only the strictly necessary session cookies that keep you signed in — no analytics or advertising trackers.

Your rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDP Act you may ask us for a summary of your personal data and how we process it, to correct or complete it, or to erase it, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. Contact our Grievance Officer at helpdesk@ufomoviez.com; we respond within the timeframe required under the DPDP Act. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you may raise the matter with the Data Protection Board of India.
